N R Brothers

N R Brothers is located at Plot No 44 in Section 8 of Gandhidham. We’ve been in the Kachchh area for quite a while now. It’s a dry place and the wind can get quite dusty, but it is home. We handle trading and various goods that come through this region. Being near the port means there is always something moving. Our setup is pretty basic. We have a small warehouse and a desk where we keep the books. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to drivers who are dropping things off. It is a family thing, so we don't have a lot of formal rules. We just know what needs to be done. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, which happens more than we'd like. There are no fancy logos or corporate stuff here. We just use our hands and our heads to keep things moving. The neighbors are mostly other traders like us. We keep an eye on each other’s places. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when the weather is nice enough. It is a simple life of buying and selling. We don't try to promise things we can't do. If we have it, we sell it. If we don't, we tell you. That’s how we’ve always done it at Section 8. We like the local rhythm of the town and how everyone knows each other’s business.
