Murlidhar's Glass House

You can find us at Murlidhar’s Glass House, right on the ground floor of Plot 308 in Gandhidham. We are at 1/12, which is quite close to the LIC office. It's a handy landmark for anyone trying to find us. Gandhidham is a place where you get used to the wind and the dust from the port nearby. Our shop isn't anything spectacular to look at from the outside, but it serves us well. We deal with glass every day, so we have to be careful where we step and how we move things around. It's a bit of a cramped space sometimes with all the crates and sheets leaning against the walls. The area near the LIC office is usually bustling with people coming and going for their paperwork. We see the same faces walking by most mornings. Being on the ground floor helps because moving heavy glass is already hard enough without having to deal with stairs or elevators. We keep the doors open mostly to let some air in, though it gets hot in the afternoons. It’s a straightforward kind of life here. We don't spend money on big signs or fancy lights. We just make sure the glass is cut right and the customers are satisfied with what they took home. It’s been our daily grind for years now and we don’t plan on changing much. We like the street we are on and the people who stop by to say hello.
