Mukeshkumar Harjivandas And Bros has been part of Vachli Bazar for a long time. Our shop is number 89. It is a family thing, passed down and kept going through the years here in Gandhidham. The bazar is always crowded and noisy, which is how we like it. We open up early in the morning when the sun is still low. You can find us right in the middle of the market rush. There are stacks of things everywhere in the shop. It’s not the most organized place if you’re looking for something modern, but we know where everything is. My brothers and I sit here and talk to the regulars who have been coming for decades. Sometimes the electricity goes out in the afternoon, so we just sit outside on the stools. We don’t bother with websites or fancy flyers. People know the name because we’ve stayed in the same spot for so long. Shop No 89 is where we spend most of our lives. It’s a bit dusty from the street traffic, but that’s life in the bazar. We handle the daily business, settle the accounts, and head home when the sun sets. It’s honest work.
