We are over in Sector 12, right near that Ambica Weigh Bridge where the big trucks are always lining up. It gets pretty loud and dusty out there with all the heavy industrial traffic, but that is just how things are in Gandhidham. We have been running things from Plot 6/A for a while now. Most days it is just us dealing with paperwork and checking on shipments that come through. Shipping is mostly just making sure things get from one spot to another without too many headaches. Sometimes the weather gets really hot and the office feels small, but we get the work done. There is a lot of movement around here because of the port and everyone is always in a hurry. We mostly talk to drivers and other folks in the transport business. It isn’t anything fancy, just a desk, some phones, and lots of folders. We try to keep things organized but when it gets busy, there are papers everywhere. You can see the weigh bridge from our spot so we always know when a heavy load is coming through. It’s a lot of long hours sometimes, especially when there are delays or something goes wrong at the docks. We just take it day by day and try to keep the wheels moving for whoever needs things moved. It’s steady work and we know most of the people around this part of the sector by now.
