Maruti Packaging

We are set up in the Kandla Special Economic Zone, over in Sector III. We have Shed 215 and 226, which covers both the ground and first floors. Being in Gandhidham-Kachchh means we are right in the middle of all the shipping and trade activity that happens near the port. The SEZ has its own set of rules and gates, which makes it feel a bit different from a regular industrial estate. We spend our days surrounded by boxes, tape, and all sorts of packing materials. It is a lot of physical work, lifting and stacking things all day long. The weather here in Kachchh can be really dry and dusty, but we have all gotten used to it by now. We have a good crew of workers who have been with us through many seasons. We do not really do anything fancy; we just make sure the packaging is done right so the goods can get where they are going without breaking. The sheds are usually pretty full of stock, so there is not much room for a proper office, just a desk tucked away in the corner. Most of our time is spent out on the floor with the pallets. It is busy, it is noisy, and there is always a truck waiting to be loaded or unloaded at the dock. We do not have any big corporate goals, just keeping the work coming in and keeping the staff busy.
