Shree Jyoti Salt Industries

We've been at Maitri Bhavan for a good while now. Being in Gandhidham, right by the port area, just makes sense for a salt business. It's dusty work, honestly, and the air always tastes a bit like the sea. My father started things here on Plot No. 18 in Sector 8, and we just kept it going. We handle the processing and packing mostly. If you know the area near P. O. Box 106, you've probably seen our trucks moving around in the morning. Kutch is known for salt, so there's plenty of competition, but we just focus on what's in front of us. Most days it's just about making sure the orders are filled and the salt is dry. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where people show up and do their jobs. Sometimes the weather gets really hot, which is actually good for the salt, but tough on the guys. We’ve seen the town grow quite a bit since we first set up shop here. People around here know where to find us if they need a bulk load for their own use or for resale. It’s not a complicated business, really. You get the raw material, you clean it up, and you send it out. We don’t spend much time on meetings or paperwork if we can help it. Mostly we are out on the floor or checking the yard. It's just what we do every day. We aren't trying to impress anyone, just working.
