Hemant Petroleum

Hemant Petroleum is at Shop C-85 in the City Gold Building. We are right in the Main Market area of Gandhidham, Kachchh. It’s a very busy part of the city. There’s always someone shouting or a horn honking outside. The City Gold Building is easy to spot, which is helpful. We deal with petroleum-related things, so our days are mostly about logistics and making sure orders are right. The shop is small and practical. I spend a lot of my time on the phone or writing things down in my ledger. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for me. The market gets incredibly crowded on the weekends, so we usually try to get our big tasks done during the week. Gandhidham weather can be tough, especially when it’s hot and the wind blows the sand around. Our windows get dirty pretty fast. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us doing the daily chores. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We see a lot of different people coming through the market. Some stop in just to ask for directions or to get out of the sun for a minute. We don’t mind. It’s part of being in the Main Market. We’ve been here for a while and don't plan on going anywhere. It’s just how we live and work. Simple as that. No big fuss or complicated systems, just keeping the shop going.
