Our business is based at Plot No. 595 in Ward 12/C, which is over in Lilashah Nagar. It’s a bit of a dusty area but it’s where we’ve been operating for a long time. The office is basically just a spot on the plot where we can sit and manage the imports and exports. It’s not a fancy glass building or anything, just a practical place to work. In Lilashah Nagar, things move at their own pace, and we’ve gotten used to the way the local area works. We spend a lot of our time dealing with drivers and making sure the loads are what they’re supposed to be. Ward 12/C is a mix of different businesses, so there is always some kind of activity going on nearby. We have a couple of desks, some old chairs, and a lot of logbooks that we use to keep track of everything. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, so we usually have the fans on full blast. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the goods get moved from one place to another without too much trouble. It can be a bit chaotic when several things happen at once, but we just handle it. It’s an honest living and we know our way around the trade by now. We just keep things moving as best as we can.
