Lalwani Traders

Our office and warehouse for Lalwani Traders is in the Light Industrial Area of Gandhidham. We are at Plot No. 14, Sector 10/A, which is part of the Gidc. Gandhidham is a port town, so there is always a lot of movement and salt in the air. We do trading here, mostly moving goods from one point to another for local clients. The office has old wooden desks and piles of ledgers because we still like to keep track of things on paper. It feels more real that way. We spend a lot of time drinking tea and talking to the truck drivers who come through the gate. Sometimes the shipments are delayed because of the weather or the port traffic, and we just have to wait it out. It is a dry and windy area, and the dust gets into everything. We have a sign on the gate, but it is a bit faded now from the sun. My uncle started this business years ago, and now I am here running it. We don't have any fancy websites or brochures. People in the industrial area know who we are and what we do. We focus on the daily tasks like counting the inventory and making sure the bills are paid. It is a lot of physical work and staying on your feet. We just get on with it every day.
