Kutch Polymers

Kutch Polymers is based out of the Kandla Special Economic Zone, right here in Gandhidham-Kachchh. We’re located at Shed No. 1-a 180-181. Being in the SEZ means there’s a lot of security and paperwork just to get in and out, but it’s a good spot for what we do. We work with plastics and polymers, mostly turning them into various products that people need. The facility is fairly large compared to some of the others around us. We have several lines running most of the time. It gets quite warm inside the shed, especially during the summer months in Kutch. We try to keep the air moving, but it’s a struggle. Our workers are mostly local folks from around Gandhidham. We’ve built a decent team over the years. We aren't a corporate giant, just a local company trying to make a living. We deal with a lot of shipping since we’re so close to the port. You see the big containers moving all day long. It's a busy atmosphere. We focus on getting the quality right so we don't have to deal with returns. It’s pretty straightforward work. We show up, run the machines, check the output, and pack it up. We’ve had our ups and downs like any business, but we keep plugging away at it. The dust from the salt flats sometimes blows in, but that’s just life in this part of the country. We just keep the machines humming.
