Kurti Construction

We are set up on the second floor of Rishabh Corner, which is shop 213. It’s at Plot No. 93 in Sector 8. Being in Gandhidham, we see a lot of activity every day. The building is usually pretty busy with people coming in and out of the different offices. Our space is basically just a room with some tables, a few chairs, and a lot of paper. We do construction work, so most of our time is spent out at various sites rather than sitting behind a desk. Sector 8 is a good area to be based in because it’s easy to get to most parts of Kachchh from here. We don't have any marketing people or a big staff. It's just a small group of us handling the local building projects. Sometimes the office gets a bit chaotic with samples of stone or wood lying around, but that’s just how it goes in this business. We don't really worry about having a polished look. We care more about whether the trucks are on time and if the weather is going to hold up for a concrete pour. It’s a lot of physical labor and long hours, especially when we’re trying to finish something before the monsoon starts. We usually just grab some lunch from one of the nearby stalls and keep working until the sun goes down.
