Monaco Agencies operates out of Godown Number 45 and 46 in the S R C area. We are located right in the middle of Khanna Market in Gandhidham. If you’ve ever been to this part of Kachchh, you know it’s a major hub for trade. The market is always crowded with people and tempos moving goods around. Our space is essentially two big storage units where we keep everything organized. It’s a lot of loading and unloading throughout the day. The air is often thick with the smell of dust and the salt from the nearby port. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just rows of boxes and a small corner where we keep our records. It gets incredibly hot here, especially in the summer, so we have a few fans going all the time. Most of the work involves checking manifests and making sure the right items go out to the right people. We’ve been in Khanna Market for years now and have seen many shops come and go. We know the other warehouse owners and the tea sellers around the corner. It’s a tight-knit community in a way. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just a few of us making sure the business keeps moving. It’s hard work, but we are used to the routine and the pace of the Gandhidham trade scene.
