Ketan Furnishing

Ketan Furnishing is located right here at Plot No 229 in Sector 1 A of Gandhidham. It's a decent-sized space where we keep all the fabrics and materials. Kachchh can be a dusty place, but we try to keep the shop floor as clean as possible for the customers who wander in. We spend a lot of time looking at different patterns and textures. It’s mostly just a few of us working the floor and helping people figure out what might look good in their homes. We don’t do big fancy advertisements or anything like that. Most folks find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because of the traffic in Sector 1 A, but we manage. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the regulars. It’s a simple setup. We have rolls of cloth everywhere and some samples on the walls. We don't use any high-tech systems, just some notebooks and a basic register. It feels more personal that way. If someone needs a curtain adjusted or a specific type of cloth, we just do it. It’s not about being the biggest shop in Gandhidham, it’s just about having what people are looking for when they walk through the door. The days are long, but we like the work and the people we meet. It’s a good way to spend the day and we plan on staying at this plot for a long time.
