Kandla Special Economic Zone Industries Association

We are based out of the K. F. T. Z. I. A. Building. It’s right there in the Kandla Special Economic Zone in Gandhidham-Kachchh. This place is a bit different from the rest of the town because of all the industry around here. The association is basically just a way for the businesses inside the zone to stay in touch and handle the stuff that comes up when you're working in a place like this. It’s dusty and busy out here, with trucks and cargo moving all the time. Our office is a functional space. We don’t spend money on decorations because that’s not what we’re here for. We’ve got desks, chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. People from the various industries stop in when they have an issue with the zone authorities or just need to chat with other owners. It’s a tight-knit group because we all face the same kinds of problems being out here in Kachchh. The weather can be harsh, and the work is constant. We’ve seen the zone grow over the years, and the association has just grown along with it. It’s not a fancy club. It’s a place for work. If you’re looking for us, you have to come into the SEZ area. We’re usually there making sure the local interests are looked after. It’s a straightforward setup for straightforward people who just want to get their business done every day without any extra fuss or unnecessary trouble.
