Our business, Jiwatram Sobhraj Co, is located at shops 23 and 24 in the Khanna Market in Gandhidham. We have been a part of this market for a long time, and we have seen it change quite a bit over the years. It is a very lively place to work, with all the different traders and the constant flow of goods through Kachchh. Our shop is where we handle all our trading activities, and it is usually filled with ledgers, samples, and various items waiting to be shipped out. We don't have a big team of sales people; it’s mostly just the family and a couple of helpers who have become like family. The daily routine is pretty much the same—open up, have some tea, and start dealing with the day's orders. We know our neighbors well and there is a lot of back-and-forth between the shops in the market. We don't believe in using complicated marketing language or making big claims about ourselves. We just try to be fair and keep our word when we make a deal. The air here can be quite dry and dusty, but that is just life in Gandhidham. We spend a lot of time on the phone or just chatting with people who stop by the shop. It is a very traditional way of doing business, and we are quite happy with how things are.
