Imperial Overseas Pvt. Ltd. is based at Plot No. 16-17 in Sector II of the Kandla Special Economic Zone. Being inside the SEZ in Gandhidham Kachchh means there are a lot of rules and gates to deal with, but it’s where we do our business. We have two plots here, so there is enough room for our operations and storage. The area is very industrial and focused on trade, which fits what we do. It’s usually quite dusty around here because of all the construction and the dry air in Kachchh, but we don't mind. We’ve been working out of this spot for a long time. The staff here mostly lives in Gandhidham and they come in every day to handle the various tasks we have. We do a lot of importing and exporting, which means there’s always a lot of paperwork and checking of containers. It’s not a glamorous job, and the sun can be really hot in the afternoon. We just try to stay organized and keep our shipments moving through the zone. The SEZ is a busy place with a lot of different companies, but we just focus on Plot No. 16-17 and getting our work done. We aren't trying to impress anyone; we're just here to do our part in the local economy and keep things running smoothly. It's a lot of manual coordination every single day to make sure everything clears.
