Prabhat Transport Co

Prabhat Transport Co is based out of Shop No. 3 on Plot No. 4 at the S R C Triangle. We’re right on Gurudawara Road, across from the 400 Qtr in Gandhidham-kachchh. Being in a place like Gandhidham means we deal with a lot of trucks and heavy loads. Our office is small and usually filled with stacks of paperwork and logbooks. There’s always someone coming in to check on a shipment or to drop off keys. The road outside is dusty and there’s always the sound of engines idling nearby. We’ve got a couple of old chairs for drivers to sit on while they wait. It’s not a fancy corporate office with air conditioning that works all the time. Sometimes the ceiling fan just moves the hot air around. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to drivers and people at the ports. Kachchh is a big area to cover, so we’re always keeping track of where everyone is. We’ve been at this spot for years and the locals know us. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people we've known for a long time. It’s a busy, noisy, and sometimes chaotic business, but we manage to keep things moving. We just take things one day at a time and try to handle whatever problems come up on the road. The evenings are usually the busiest when the final schedules for tomorrow are being set.
