Great Links

We set up shop at Plot No. 329 in Bhatt Nagar, right by St. Joseph Hospital. Being in Gandhidham-Kachchh means we deal with a lot of dust and salt in the air, but we’ve made this little corner our own. Great Links isn't some massive corporation with a skyscraper. It’s a practical space where we handle our daily business and try to keep things moving. We see a lot of people coming and going because of the hospital nearby, so there’s always some activity on the street. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and a couple of desks that have seen better days. We don’t go in for fancy decorations or anything that doesn't serve a purpose. My brother and I usually handle the front, and we have a couple of helpers for the heavy lifting. The paperwork can be a headache, especially with the taxes and all that, but we manage to stay on top of it. Some days are slow and we just sit and talk about the cricket scores, while other days we don’t even have time to eat lunch. We like the location because everyone knows where the hospital is, so they never get lost finding us. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We’ve been here a while now and the neighbors are good people. We just try to do our bit and keep the doors open six days a week.
