We have a pretty large footprint over in Sector Iv of the Kandla Special Economic Zone. Our operations are spread across several plots like 349-352 and 368-376, plus some others like 394-396 and 436. Because we are in the SEZ in Gandhidham, there is a lot of security and paperwork involved every time something moves. The salt air from the coast makes everything rust a bit faster, so we are always painting something or fixing a fence. It’s a big area to manage. Most of the day is spent coordinating between the different plots and making sure the loaders are in the right place. It’s a lot of walking, and the Kachchh heat is no joke in the middle of the day. We have a lot of different people working here, from drivers to office staff. It’s a busy, dusty environment with a lot of heavy lifting. We don’t have time for fancy mission statements. Our goal is just to get the containers filled and the paperwork signed so the trucks can head out to the port. The office is usually humming with the sound of printers and fans. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. We’ve been in Gandhidham for years and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the port and the zone. It’s just a big, practical operation that keeps us on our toes. We don't ask for much more than that.
