Our office is in the Kutch Arcade Building, units 55 and 56. We are right on N H 8 A, very close to the railway crossing. If you have ever been stuck at that crossing, you have probably seen our sign. Being so close to the highway and the tracks is perfect for cargo work because that is where all the action is in Gandhidham. We spend most of our time organizing trucks and making sure the loaders know what goes where. It is a dusty job sometimes, especially with the wind blowing off the main road. The office is a busy place with people coming in to check rates or sign off on delivery notes. We have some sturdy furniture and a lot of maps of the Kutch region pinned to the walls. It is a lot of coordination between the drivers on the road and the companies waiting for their stuff. Sometimes things get delayed at the crossing or on the highway, and we have to figure out a new plan. It’s a lot of practical problem-solving. We don't have a fancy waiting room, just some chairs and a water cooler. We just focus on getting the cargo from point A to point B without any unnecessary trouble. It’s a lot of long hours and phone calls, but that is the cargo business.
