Balaji Traders

At Balaji Traders, we operate out of room 212 at Aum Corner. This is in Gandhidham, specifically in Ward 12 B. We actually have a few plots here, numbers 336, 337, and 343. It’s a lot to keep track of sometimes. The Kutch weather is no joke; it gets very hot and dry out here. We spend a lot of our time moving between the office and the plots. Aum Corner is a familiar spot for people doing business in this area. Our office isn't very large. It’s mostly filled with ledgers, some samples, and a couple of desks. We don't have air conditioning that works perfectly all the time, so we make do with what we have. It’s a busy life being a trader in a place like Gandhidham. There is always someone calling or some delivery being arranged. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just buy and sell and try to keep the books straight. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into everything, but you just wipe it off and keep going. We've been here long enough that the rhythm of the place feels natural. It’s just us doing our daily rounds, checking the stock at the plots, and sitting in the office to finish the paperwork. It’s a practical, everyday sort of business. We stay here until the logs are updated and the gates are locked.
