Our office is on the first floor at Plot No. 265/12-B, which is right near the old Shiv Cinema. It’s a handy location because everyone knows where the cinema is. We handle overseas stuff, which basically means we deal with a lot of shipping, customs papers, and boxes moving back and forth. It’s not as exciting as it sounds. Mostly it’s just us sitting at desks, making calls to agents, and checking where a container has reached. The office is often full of samples and packing materials. We aren't a huge multinational with thousands of employees. We are a small team just trying to get things through the ports without too much trouble. Sometimes the paperwork gets messy and we have to stay late to sort it out. We don't really do much in terms of promotion. Most of our contacts come from people we’ve known for years in the trade. We focus on the logistics and making sure the stuff gets from point A to point B. It’s a lot of coordination and hoping the ships run on time. We don't have fancy decorations in the office. It’s just computers, printers, and a lot of files. We just do our bit to keep the trade moving smoothly from our little spot near Shiv Cinema. We spend our days tracking shipments and talking to folks in different time zones, which can be a bit of a headache, but we manage somehow.
