Associate Lumbers Pvt. Ltd. is situated at Associate House, right on the N.H. Way in Gandhidham. We are very close to Laxmi Motors, which is the best way to find us if you are driving along the highway. Kachchh is a big area, and being on the main highway helps us a lot with moving timber around. The yard is usually full of different kinds of wood and lumber stacked up high. It’s a bit of a dusty environment, especially when the wind picks up across the plains here. We spend our days measuring logs, cutting pieces to size, and loading trucks that are headed to different parts of the state. The office at Associate House is where we keep the logs and the receipts, but most of the work happens outside in the yard. It can be quite loud when the saws are running. We don’t have a fancy sales team or a big marketing budget. Usually, it’s just one of us answering the phone or talking to a contractor who has pulled their truck in. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we’ve seen how much Gandhidham has changed with all the port activity and new roads being built. We just stick to what we know, which is wood and lumber. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It's a steady job, and we take it one day at a time, making sure the orders get out to the people who need them. It's just simple work.
