Our office is over at Shop No. 47 and 48 in the Tanker Owners Association Building. Being in Gandhidham-Kachchh, we are surrounded by the shipping and transport industry. The building itself is quite busy, with people coming and going from various offices all the time. We handle the marketing side of things, which mostly involves a lot of phone calls and keeping track of orders on our desks. It’s not a fancy corporate office with carpets and coffee machines. We have some desks, chairs, and filing cabinets that have seen better days. The walls are mostly covered with calendars and maps of the local area. We spend a lot of time coordinating between suppliers and the people who need the goods. Since we are in the Tanker Owners building, we see a lot of folks from the transport sector. There’s always someone stopping by for a chat or to drop off some papers. The air is often salty because we aren't far from the coast. Sometimes the power flickers, and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. We don't have any big speeches about what we do. We just try to get the orders right and make sure everything gets to where it’s supposed to go. It’s a lot of small tasks that add up to a full day. We close up and head home once the main traffic dies down in the evening. It's just a regular job.
