Amrit Salt Supply Co

Our place is called Amrit Salt Supply Co, and you can find us at Amrit Bhavan in Gandhidham. We are at Shop No. C-43 in the Main Bazar area. It’s a very old part of town, and the streets are always crowded. We’ve been here a long time, back when the post box was just number one. Amritlal Hirji Pandya started things off, and we just kept the name. It’s a family thing, really. Dealing with salt means things can get a bit messy, but it’s honest work. The shop isn’t huge, but it fits what we need. Being in the Main Bazar means we see everyone passing by. We talk to the other shopkeepers a lot. It’s a friendly enough place. We handle the shipping and the orders from this small office. Sometimes the air smells like the sea because of the salt, which I guess makes sense. We don't do much advertising; people just know where we are. We open early in the morning when the market starts to wake up. It’s loud and busy, but we like it that way. We just keep our heads down and handle the salt supplies. If you need to find us, just ask for the shop in Amrit Bhavan. We’ll likely be there sorting through the daily paperwork or talking to a driver. The floors are a bit worn from all the foot traffic over the years. We don't plan on moving anywhere else anytime soon.
