Our shop is Number 48 in the Kalpataru Complex. This is over on Plot 60 in Sector 9/c. We are tucked right behind the Gokul Hotel, which is a good landmark if you are driving along the N. H. Way in Gandhidham. The highway is always buzzing with big trailers and cars heading out of Kachchh. We get a bit of that noise here, but being behind the hotel keeps it a little bit quieter. The complex has a lot of different offices and shops, so there is usually a mix of people walking around. We have a lot of shelves that reach all the way to the ceiling because the shop is not very wide. We use a shaky old ladder to reach the stuff at the top. It is not the most modern setup, but it has worked for us for years. The floor is made of old tiles that have seen better days. We usually have the radio playing softly in the corner to keep us company while we work. In the summer, the heat in Gandhidham is no joke, so we mostly stay inside and try to keep cool. People stop by after eating at the hotel sometimes just to see what we have. We are not trying to be anything we are not. We just run our sales agency from here and try to keep the customers happy without making a big fuss about it.
