About Aashirvad International – Textile in Gandhidham
We have been operating out of Plot No. 333 in Sector 1-a for quite a few years now. Gandhidham is a busy place, especially with all the trucks moving toward the port every day. It gets quite dusty around here, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the desks. Aashirvad International isn't a huge setup, just a handful of us working in the office and some help in the yard. We handle a lot of different goods coming through Kachchh. Some days are slow, especially when the heat is too much in the afternoon, but we get things done. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. There’s just a small sitting area for visitors and a lot of files stacked on the shelves. My father started this business, and I took over later on. We know most of the people around here in the sector. It’s a tight-knit community of traders and transporters. We drink tea from the stall around the corner twice a day. Usually, we are busy with paperwork and calling people to make sure the shipments are moving. It’s not a glamorous job, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see what the day brings us. Sometimes the internet is slow, which makes the customs work a bit of a headache.
