Suhanee Color Lab

Our shop is at Gf-25 in the Amperar Building. It is right on the Fatehgunj Main Road here in Baroda. If you walk inside, it smells like chemicals and paper. The lights are usually a bit dim because of the screens we use. We spend most of our day looking at photos. Some are from weddings and some are just old family pictures people want to keep. The machines make a constant humming sound. It is a bit cramped inside with all the frames and albums we keep on the shelves. Sometimes the floor gets a bit messy with scraps of paper. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know how to work the printers. People bring in their memory cards or phones and we try to get things printed out for them. The building is quite old and the stairs can be a bit steep. Fatehgunj is always busy so there is a lot of honking outside our door. It is a small space but it works for what we do. We have been here for years. You see the same faces coming in. It is nice when someone sees a printed photo and smiles. We just keep doing what we do, one picture at a time. It is a lot of clicking and dragging files on the computer screen. We keep the counter clear so customers have a place to put their things down.
