Skp Transformers

We are located at Plot No. 519 in Rakanpur, which is under the Kalol area. The workshop is out where things are a bit more spread out. At Skp Transformers, we spend our days around large coils and steel sheets. It is a very hands-on environment. There is always someone welding or winding wire. The floor is concrete and usually has some oil spots here and there. We don't have a big corporate office; our workspace is where the action is. The air usually smells like industrial grease. It can be quite a dusty place, especially when the wind picks up across the plots in Rakanpur. We have a small area where we keep the files and the phone, but we are rarely sitting down. Most of the time, we are out checking the builds. The workers here are local guys who know their way around a transformer. We don't really have a dress code or anything. Just old clothes that can get dirty. We eat our lunch out under the shade of the building when it gets too hot inside. It is a quiet life in some ways, despite the noise of the tools. We just take the orders as they come and try to do a solid job on each one. There is a lot of pride in seeing a finished unit loaded onto a truck. It is just us doing our thing out here.
