Our factory is at Block Number 75 in the village of Bileshwarpura, which is part of the Kalol area. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the big city, but we like it here. We work with polymers, which involves a lot of raw materials coming in and finished products going out on trucks. The shed we work in is large and open to let the air circulate, which is necessary when the weather gets hot. We aren't some high-tech outfit with robots; it’s mostly just people operating machines and checking the output by hand. Sometimes things break down and we have to spend the afternoon fixing a motor or a belt. That’s just part of the job. Most of the people working here live nearby in the village, so it feels more like a local community than a big company. We don't have fancy brochures or a glossy website. We just do our work and talk to our customers on the phone or when they stop by the block. The ground around the factory is a bit uneven and gets muddy when it rains, but we've got some stones laid down. It’s a simple setup, focusing on making things that people actually use. We start early in the morning when it’s still cool and try to get the heavy work done before the midday sun hits the roof.
