Our place is tucked away right behind the Convent School in Vadodara. It’s a bit of a quiet spot compared to the main roads, which is nice most of the time. You can hear the school bell ringing and the kids playing during their breaks, which kind of tells us what time of day it is without even looking at a clock. We’ve been at this Gujarat address for a good stretch of years now. The building isn't anything modern or shiny, just a solid old place that does the job. People sometimes have a little trouble finding us since we’re behind the school, but once they know where we are, they just drop in whenever they need something. We don't spend much money on decorations or fancy furniture. Most of what’s inside is just practical stuff we need for the day-to-day work. The walk back here from the main street is short but can get a bit dusty when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We’ve got a few regulars from the neighborhood who stop by just to say hello or ask a quick question about our hours. It’s a very local way of doing things. We just show up in the morning, open the doors, and get to whatever needs doing. There’s no big mystery to it. We like being in this part of Vadodara because it feels like a real community where everyone knows who is who.
