Dinwees Foundation

The Dinwees Foundation is located right with the Four Seasons Preschool in Armpora, near the power house in Ganderbal. It’s a busy spot with all the kids around, but it’s where we do our work. Being near the preschool means we see families every single day. We hear about their problems and their successes. It’s a good way to stay connected to what’s actually happening in Ganderbal and Srinagar. We don't have a big corporate office. Our space is shared with the school activities, so it’s always a bit noisy and full of life. We like it that way. It keeps us grounded. Most of our work is about helping families who are just trying to make ends meet. It might be about education, or it might just be about helping someone through a rough patch. We don't have any big, fancy goals. We just take things one day at a time. If someone comes to us with a problem, we see if we can help. If we can't, we try to find someone who can. It’s just a local foundation run by people who live right here in the 191201 area. We’ve been here for a while and plan on staying. It’s just about being part of the community and doing our bit. Sometimes the kids from the school wander into our office looking for snacks, and it just makes the day better. We’re just regular folks doing our part.
