Vahni Laboratories

Vahni Laboratories is up on the third floor of Plot No 102. We are located in the Aleap Industrial Estate. Carrying things up the stairs can be a bit of a workout since we don't always use the lift if it's busy with other people. The space is actually quite bright because we are higher up than the other buildings. We have been here for a few years now. The estate is mostly full of women-led businesses, which makes for a nice and supportive atmosphere. We mostly do lab work, so there are a lot of glass bottles and scales around. It stays pretty quiet inside, which helps us focus on the details. Sometimes you can hear the noise from the street below, but it's not too bad. We don't have a big fancy office area. Just a few desks pushed together and our equipment. Most days involve a lot of cleaning and making sure everything is where it should be. We keep a logbook for everything we do. It’s a bit old-fashioned but it works for us. Lunch is usually spent talking about local news or what's happening elsewhere in the estate. We don't have any big corporate goals written on the walls or anything like that. We just come in, do the testing, and make sure the results are written down correctly in the files. It’s a steady pace and we like it that way. Usually, we head out once the last test is finished.
