Shri Ganga Cement Products

Shri Ganga Cement Products is located on Dhanora Road, right by the Pakka Pul in JP Nagar. We spend most of our time out in the yard where the mixing happens. It is a dusty job and our clothes are usually covered in gray powder by the end of the day. We make various items out of cement, mostly things people need for building or their gardens. The sound of the mixer is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives here. JP Nagar is a busy area and being near Pakka Pul means there are always trucks going past. We don't have a polished office, just a small place to sit and take orders from customers. Most of our work is physical labor, lifting and moving heavy things. We have to watch the weather closely because rain can ruin everything if we aren't careful with the drying process. It’s hard work and it makes your back ache, but it is what we know how to do. We just focus on getting the mix right and making sure the products are solid and strong. People from around Dhanora Road know us by now. We don't do any big marketing, just keep the gate open and work through the piles of sand and cement. It is a simple life centered around the yard and the bridge nearby.
