Tungabhadra High School

Tungabhadra High School is located right on Hubli Road in Chapparadahalli. If you are driving down towards the main town, you really can’t miss us. The traffic on Hubli Road can get quite heavy in the mornings and evenings, so there is always a lot of noise from the trucks and cars passing by our gate. We have a regular routine here that doesn’t change much from year to year. The building itself has been part of Chapparadahalli for a good while, and most of the locals know exactly where we are. We spend our mornings getting the classrooms ready and making sure everything is in its place before the day starts. It’s not a very big school, but it keeps us all busy enough. Sometimes the weather gets really dry, and we have to spend extra time watering the few plants we have near the entrance. We aren't doing anything flashy or out of the ordinary. It’s just about showing up, opening the doors, and making sure the students have a place to sit and learn. You get to know the neighbors well since we are all right there on the main road. The chai shop just a few doors down is where most of us end up at some point in the afternoon. It’s a simple setup we have here, and we just try to keep things running smooth without too much fuss.
