Sri Ram Granites

We are located out in District Gadag. It’s a place where the sun really shines hot on the stone most of the year. We have been working with granites in this area for a long time. Our yard is pretty big because we need the space to keep the heavy blocks and the finished slabs. It’s a dusty job. There is no way around it. By the end of the day, everyone has a layer of stone dust on their clothes. We have a few machines for polishing and cutting, and they make a lot of noise. You can hear it from the road. We don't have a fancy office. Most of the time we are just out in the yard or sitting in a small room with a desk and some old chairs. We deal with all kinds of people, mostly locals or builders from nearby towns in the district. The work is hard and it’s heavy. We use cranes and rollers to move the bigger pieces around. It takes a lot of patience to get the finish just right on a slab. We don't spend money on fancy stuff or anything like that. We just focus on getting the stone ready. Sometimes the rain slows us down, but mostly we are out there every day. It is a simple business based on hard work and the natural stone we get from the earth around here. We just take it one day at a time and keep moving the slabs out as they are finished.
