We are situated in Ward Number 28, over in the Bburusingi part of town. Our office is set up at Sri Sakuntala Kingal’s place. It’s a convenient spot for the farmers from Pottar and Narayanpur to come together. Paralakhemundi is a great area for farming, and we’ve been working with organic methods for quite some time now. This company is basically just a way for us to pool our resources. Instead of everyone trying to sell their small harvest alone, we do it together. It makes things a bit easier, though the paperwork is a real headache sometimes. We sit around the table in the main room and go over the numbers for the week. There’s usually a lot of noise from the street outside, but we don't mind it. Sakuntala is around most days, making sure things are running okay. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just rely on the quality of the vegetables and grains we produce. The local people know us, and we know them. It’s about trust and hard work. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish the weighing and bagging, but that’s part of the job. We are just a group of neighbors trying to make sure our organic farms stay profitable and our soil stays healthy for the next generation. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us grounded and connected to our roots.
