Djr Development Foundation runs its operations from the D. Jaganath & Sons premises in Parlakhemundi. This is in the Gajapati district. We’ve been part of the local landscape here for quite some time now. Our focus is on development, but we keep it very local to Gajapati. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s more of a family-and-friends kind of setup where we use our resources to help the town move forward. Parlakhemundi is a place with a lot of history and we want to see it do well. We aren't out here making big speeches or using fancy business words. We just look at what’s broken or what’s missing and try to fix it through the foundation. The office is right in the heart of things, so we see a lot of people every day. Our team knows the 761200 area very well. We might not have the newest computers or a shiny lobby, but we have people who care about this district. We spend a lot of time listening to what the local shopkeepers and farmers have to say. It’s practical work that doesn't need much explaining. We’ve stayed at this address because it’s where we are known. It’s just about doing what we can for the place we call home.
