S K Industry is found at H. No 8-3-41/1A on Kunta Street in Gadwal. It is a small industrial unit that stays busy with manufacturing throughout the week. The street can be a bit narrow, so getting materials in and out takes a little bit of patience. We have a few machines that do the bulk of the work and they make a steady humming noise all day long. It isn’t a very big space but we have organized it to fit the production line as best as we can. The walls are a bit stained from the oil and dust, but that’s just part of being a working shop. We focus on getting the daily production targets met without making a big deal out of it. Most of the people working here are from around Gadwal and have been with us since we started on Kunta Street. We don't spend money on advertising or fancy signs. Most of our work comes from people who already know us or see us working when they walk by. It’s a practical environment where we focus on the task at hand. Sometimes we have to work late to finish a batch, and other times it’s quiet enough to catch up on maintenance. We just take things as they come and try to stay consistent with what we produce. It’s a simple life of making things and keeping the business running in our local neighborhood.
