Nitin Medical Stores

Our shop is located right in the Main Market of Lakhandur, which is a post-Lakhandur area. Being in the market means we are right in the thick of things from early morning until late at night. There is always a lot of dust and noise from the passing trucks and the people coming in from the surrounding villages. We have been here for a while, so the locals know us pretty well. The shop is packed with all kinds of medicines and daily essentials that people in this area might need. We don't have any air conditioning, just a few sturdy fans that do their best to keep the air moving during the hot summer months. Most of the day is spent behind the counter, looking for specific items on the high shelves or talking to the customers who come in with their health concerns. It’s a very hands-on job where you are constantly moving around. We take our meals in the back of the shop when there's a break in the crowd. The market has its own rhythm, and we are just one part of that cycle. Sometimes it feels like we are more of a community hub than just a store, as people often stop by to chat or share the local news. We don't try to be anything special; we just show up every day and make sure the shop is open for business.
