We are situated in a place called Shirol, which is in the Naragund Taluk of Gadag district. Our office is at the B.V.Guggalad post. It’s a bit out of the way if you aren't from around here. The area is mostly rural, so it’s much quieter than the big cities like Bangalore. We deal with logistics, mostly helping get goods from the farms or local businesses to where they need to go. The office is a simple one, nothing fancy at all. We have a few chairs, a couple of tables, and the logs for the trucks. In the mornings, it’s quite peaceful before the work really kicks off. We know most of the drivers who come through here. They usually stop for a bit of water or a quick rest. The weather here in Karnataka can be quite dry, and the sun is sharp. We just get on with it. It’s a small group of us working here. We don’t really do any big advertising. Word of mouth is how most people find us in Shirol. We spend our time checking schedules and making sure the loaders are doing their job right. It’s a straightforward life. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to keep the trucks moving on time. Gadag is a good place to live and work if you like a slower pace. We've been here for years and the community knows us. It is just a regular logistics office doing regular daily work.
