Our spot is near Mallarayan Katti in the Betageri area of Gadag. Vrl Logistics Limited has been operating from here for a while now. It’s a pretty straightforward setup with a desk and some space for the workers to sit. The phone rings a lot, mostly people asking about their parcels. Gadag is a smaller place, so word gets around fast if things are running late. We try to stay on top of it. The office is a bit old, and the walls could use some paint, but it gets the job done. We have a small team that handles the local entries and exits. Sometimes the trucks have trouble with the roads leading up to Betageri, especially after a big rain. We spend a lot of time on the landline, 08372-245035, trying to coordinate with the main hubs. It’s not glamorous, just a lot of checking lists and making sure the loading is balanced. We don't use much technology here, just the basics. People from the neighborhood often stop by to check on things. It’s a very local feel, even though we are part of a bigger network. We just keep things moving as best as we can every day. Usually, the morning is the busiest time when the overnight shipments arrive and everything needs to be sorted for delivery. We just grab some coffee and get to work.
