Prakash Ice Cream

Prakash Ice Cream is located at 3-85, right by the Bellatti Post Office. Being near the post office means we see almost everyone in the village at some point during the week. It’s a very small-town feel here. The shop isn't anything fancy, just a room with some freezers and a counter. We spend a lot of time sitting out front when it’s quiet, waiting for the next person to walk up. When the mail comes in, things get a bit busier for an hour or so. We know most of the people by name since they’ve lived here forever. We don't have a big menu with hundreds of items, just the usual flavors that people like. Sometimes we run out of something and have to wait for the next delivery truck to come through the area. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but it’s fine for now. We just focus on keeping the machines running so nothing melts in the heat. It’s a slow pace of life in Bellatti and our shop reflects that perfectly. We aren't trying to impress anyone with modern decor or bright lights. We just want to provide something cold for the folks who are walking home or waiting for their letters. It is a simple business run by local people who have been here for years. We are just part of the daily scenery on this street.
