New Anadaneswara Puc College

Our college is located out in Purthageri, right on the Gajendragad Road in Gadag. It’s a bit of a drive from the main town center, but that keeps things a little quieter. The New Anadaneswara Puc College building stands out quite a bit against the surrounding landscape. We have a good amount of space, which is nice when the students are all out for their breaks. The halls are wide and the ceilings are high, so it stays relatively cool even when the sun is beating down outside. We spend a lot of time in the office area dealing with admissions and local paperwork. It’s a lot of manual work, writing things down in books and filing away forms. The desks are heavy wood and we’ve got cupboards full of files going back years. Sometimes the wind kicks up a lot of dust from the road, so we’re always dusting off the surfaces. You can see the fields not too far away from the upper floors. It’s a very local atmosphere here. People from the nearby villages and the town all know where we are. We don't have any flashy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the front and the sound of classes going on. It’s a straightforward place for students to come and get their work done without too many distractions from the city.
