Mohiuddin Sand Company is situated at 45/2, Mulgund Road. A good way to find us is to look for the Iyengar Bakery because we are right near it. The smell of their fresh bread is one of the best things about being in this spot. Our yard is mostly just a big open space where we keep piles of sand. It's a messy business especially when the wind picks up or when it rains. We have a tiny office building on the property where we keep our logs and take shelter from the sun. Mulgund Road is a primary route for heavy vehicles so it's always quite loud. We spend a lot of time talking to the truck drivers who come in to load or unload. It is a rough kind of work and we are often covered in grit by the time we leave for the day. We have been in this location for a long time and we know most of the people who pass by. The office has a single fan that doesn't do much in the heat but we manage. We don't have any fancy brochures or a sales team. We just sell sand to people who need it for building things. It is a straightforward way to make a living and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. Just sand and hard work.
