In Hirekerur, everyone kind of knows where 15/2, 1st Cross in Vijaya Nagar is. That’s where we operate Kori Spices & Foods Pvt Ltd. It’s a decent area, not too loud, which is nice when you’re trying to focus on food production. We’ve got our equipment set up for the spices, and the whole building has this deep, earthy smell that sticks to your clothes. Some days we’re busier than others, especially when a new shipment of raw ingredients comes in. We spend a lot of time cleaning the machines and making sure everything is where it should be. The staff here are mostly local people from around Vijaya Nagar, so there’s a lot of chatting during the breaks. We don't have a big corporate cafeteria, just a small corner with a table and a few chairs. The 1st Cross can get a bit crowded with parked scooters, but we make do. It’s a simple operation, really. We take the spices, process them, and get them ready for whoever needs them. No one here wears a tie or uses big words. We just do the job, lock up at the end of the day, and head home. The light in the afternoon hits the front window just right, making the whole place feel a bit warmer than it probably is.
