Karthru Bespoke is located at House Number 83/4 in Binakadakatti, which is in Gadag. It’s a bit of a distance from the main hub of the city, so it stays relatively calm around here. Our workspace is pretty simple. We have our tailoring setups and cutting tables spread out across the rooms. It’s not a showroom; it’s a place where we actually make things. We spend a lot of time measuring and double-checking the fit of the garments. There’s no big sign outside, just a regular door that leads into our world of fabric and thread. We aren't trying to be a huge factory. We prefer keeping things small so we can see every piece that goes out. Sometimes we run out of a specific button or thread and have to wait for the next delivery from town. That’s just part of being in a place like Gadag. The building is solid and keeps the heat out during the summer months. We work mostly by daylight because it’s better for seeing the details. It’s a very quiet atmosphere, mostly just the sound of shears cutting through cloth and the occasional motorbike passing by. We don’t have a lot of rules, we just know what needs to be done every morning. It’s a steady life and we like the focus it requires. We just want to do our work without any unnecessary complications or fancy words getting in the way.
