Being in Coorg is nice because the environment is so green and peaceful, even if our shop is on the main road. We deal with various kinds of jewelry, and our days are spent looking after the shop and showing our items to anyone who drops by. We don't have a big corporate team or a marketing strategy. It is just a small business where we do everything ourselves. We spend a lot of time keeping the display cases clean and making sure the shop looks presentable. Siddapur is a small place, so we know many of the people who walk past our door every day. We also get the occasional tourist who is visiting the district. We don't use any high-pressure sales talk or fancy slogans. We just show the jewelry we have and tell people about the pieces if they ask. It is a very simple and direct way of doing business. We mostly just wait for the afternoon sun to hit the window while we organize the inventory one more time. It is a quiet existence but we are quite content with the shop.
