Daneshwari Agro & Green Energy Private Limited

Our place is in Kanakawad Hebbal, over in Gadag. It is a part of Karnataka where the sun is usually quite strong, which is why we got into the green energy side of things along with the agro business. We don't have a polished office in the city. Instead, we are right here where the work happens. The village life is quiet, but we keep ourselves busy with different projects. Sometimes we are looking at the crops and other times we are thinking about how to use the land for energy. It’s a mix of old ways and some new ideas we are trying out. People around here know us as local folks. We don’t go around using big words to describe what we do. We just work the land and try to see if we can make things a bit more efficient. The roads around Gadag can be rough, so we spend a lot of time traveling between the fields and our base. It is a small operation, mostly just family and a few workers who have been with us for a long time. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the weather since that controls everything we do. It’s not a high-pressure corporate job. It is more about staying connected to the ground and making sure the energy and the plants are both doing okay. We like it this way and plan to stay for good.
