You can find our office at the Laxmi Complex, right on Bus Stand Road here in Gajendragad. Being near the bus stand means it’s always busy outside with people coming and going from Ron and other parts of Gadag. We’ve been operating Amplo Chits from this spot, and it’s a pretty simple setup. There are a few of us working here daily. We deal with the chit fund groups and all the paperwork that comes with it. The office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. Usually, people stop by after getting off the bus to drop off their payments or check on their savings. It gets a bit dusty because of the road, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep the registers updated and make sure the monthly meetings happen as they should. It’s a lot of sitting at desks and talking to neighbors. We know most of the people who walk through the door by name. There’s no big corporate vibe here, just us trying to keep the funds organized and the accounts balanced. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for the next person to come in. Dealing with money and chits requires a lot of attention to detail, so we spend most of the afternoon double-checking the numbers. It’s a steady pace of work that keeps us occupied from morning until evening.
